If you’re anything like us, you enjoy
getting your mind blown by all the
insane world records that are out
there. From displays of super human
strength to bizarre and wacky feats,
there’s just something undeniably
incredible about learning how varied
and interesting our world and the
people in it actually are. These gems
also provide for great conversation
starters or, for some people,
inspiration to set a record or two of
their own.
But while it’s great to see records you
can hardly wrap your mind around,
there are also those that make your
skin crawl. We’re taking about bathing
with maggots and growing finger nails
upwards of 32 feet. These insanely
gross world records easily trigger our
gag reflex and make us wonder why
someone would even want to hold the
record for those things. These aren’t
the types of feats that inspire us to try
our hands at them.
But hey, who are we to judge, right?
Because at the end of the day we’re
still sitting here looking through and
marveling at those very things that we
label as gross. Even if we’re disgusted
out by them, we’re also entirely
captivated and totally interested in
learning more.
