46 year old Stephen Hicks allegedly shot
the three victims on Tuesday. Police say
they believe the shooting happened over
a dispute about a parking space outside
the building where the suspect lives.
However, many believe that the victims
were targeted because they were
Muslim.

announcement from the FBI.

groups including predominantly Muslim
groups are calling on the Obama
administration to open a hate crimes
inquiry and publicly denounce the
shootings. The letter is signed by the
groups and is addressed to Eric Holder.
