Syrian president assumes coalition forces may be interested in preserving Islamic State

There is no serious effort to fight
terrorism as the 60 countries of the
coalition altogether conduct fewer
airstrikes than the Syrian air force,
says Bashar Assad
DAMASC
US, March 27. /TASS/. The
international antiterrorism coalition is not serious, Syrian President Bashar Assad said in an interview with Russia media outlets.
"When you follow media reports on
daily or weekly basis, you see that the rate of the airstrikes conducted by what they call a coalition against
terrorism is sometimes less than ten
strikes a day or a little more, in Syria
or in Iraq, or in both Syria and Iraq,"
Assad said.
